We’ve been busy behind the scenes! This release brings better control over who can do what in your supplier data, a cleaner way to manage permissions and a few bug fixes for good measure. Here's what's new:
Fine-tuned control with new Data Point Permissions
Now you can manage permissions more precisely for each user type (standard, editor, supplier). Choose between:
-
🔒 No Access – can't see anything
-
👁️ View Only – can look, but not touch
-
✏️ Edit – full editing powers
Permissions are clearly displayed when you create or edit data points. Defaults are smart too: standard users can view only, and editors can edit.
A fresh Permissions tab in your Data Framework
We’ve redesigned the Data Framework permissions tab so it’s easy to see and update access levels across your team. Each user type now has its own column, and every data point has its permissions laid out in one row.
Supplier Data pages now respect permissions
What you see (and edit) in supplier data pages depends on your access. We now show and hide components dynamically based on your assigned permission — meaning fewer distractions and tighter security.
Other small but mighty improvements
- Cleaner URLs on subgroup edit pages – Fixed those broken links. They’ll now take you right where you need to go.
-
Supplier connection search – We’ll only show active and archived suppliers when you're setting up a connection (no more accidentally linking to deleted ones).
-
Internal role selection – Role radios are now single-select, and the highest available role is automatically chosen for multi-role users.
