Canopy 1.19 - Supplier Onboarding

This release introduces a powerful set of features designed to simplify supplier onboarding and streamline profile management. Suppliers can now submit their data directly, freeing up time for admins and improving the accuracy of the information collected.

With enhanced control over permissions and intuitive design improvements, the supplier onboarding process has never been easier. Here’s what’s new:

Supplier Onboarding for Canopy Collect

Canopy Collect customers can now onboard suppliers directly through the platform. This new feature allows suppliers to complete and submit their data profiles independently, eliminating the need for administrators to manually input data.

Invite Suppliers to Complete Their Profiles

Admins now have the ability to send invitations to suppliers, enabling them to fill out their required data points. The supplier can then submit the information directly from their profile.

• Intuitive forms with a progress bar to guide suppliers through the process

• Clear instructions to ensure that all required information is completed accurately

Automatic Profile Admin Assignment

Profile management has been enhanced with automatic assignment of profile admins. This ensures that the correct user is automatically designated as the profile admin, reducing administrative effort and improving accuracy.

Refined Permissions for Supplier Data

We have introduced new features that allow more granular control over what suppliers can view and edit within their profile forms. Admins can now fine-tune access to specific data points, ensuring that suppliers only see the relevant information they need to complete their profiles.

Improved Supplier Form Experience

The supplier forms have been redesigned to be more user-friendly, with a clearer layout and easy-to-follow instructions. To improve the completion process, a progress bar and tab counts are now visible, helping suppliers stay on track as they fill out the required fields.

Invite Colleagues for Data Completion

Suppliers now have the option to invite colleagues to assist with completing their data forms. This collaborative feature ensures that all necessary information is submitted quickly and accurately.

Beta Phase and Future Plans

Please note that the new supplier onboarding feature is currently in its beta phase. While this feature is available at no additional cost for the time being, there may be charges introduced in the future. Stay tuned for future updates.

Other Improvements and Bug Fixes

• Data Framework Enhancements: We’ve made adjustments to the organization of data points, making it easier for administrators to set up and maintain the data framework.

• Bug Fixes: Several minor issues have been addressed to enhance system stability and improve the overall user experience.
